Houston Acupuncture Needing on FaceWelcomes You

Natural Point Acupuncture welcomes all clients – those who are skeptical, scared, or even curious about how acupuncture is used to address and treat wellness concerns. It’s not uncommon for Natural Point Acupuncture to treat frustrated clients. Clients come in frustrated for many reasons – suffering from chronic pain, exhausted from numerous doctor appointments or even frustrated from being dependent on a variety of medications that don’t work.

Transforms You

Natural Point Acupuncture transforms your life naturally. Our mission is to balance the body and mind by combining ancient and modern practices with knowledge and experience using sophisticated techniques.

Traditional Chinese medicine (also known as Eastern Medicine) is based on ancient beliefs that the body and mind are completely interrelated. Natural Point Acupuncture follows through with this belief and integrates acupuncture expertise with knowledge of using herbs to get to the root of health issues.

What to Expect

Once you book an online appointment, expect to receive a confirmation email including access to our medical forms. Please complete, print, and bring these forms to your appointment. Should you not have access to a printer (or forget to bring the forms), please plan to arrive 10 – 15 minutes earlier than your appointment time to complete the form.

During your initial appointment, our acupuncturist will take the time to learn about you, your medical history, and understand the purpose of your visit. To attain deep understanding of your health, your acupuncturist will have a series of questions and will intertwine traditional Chinese medicine methodologies (such as taking a look at your tongue and taking your pulse) to provide a diagnosis. To properly prepare you for a treatment, your acupuncturist will ensure your comfort and encourage you to turn off your phone. It is best to wear loose clothing so we can easily access under the elbow and knee’s, if you forget or are unable, then we may ask you to undress to your liking and cover with a blanket or you can bring a change of clothing. During an acupuncture treatment, it’s important to relax and lay as still as possible. (Expect to be laying down approximately 20 – 30 minutes.) Once the treatment is complete, your practitioner will return to remove the needles. It’s common to immediately feel groggy but typically you will feel an overall sense of calmness and relaxation. The effects of acupuncture can last 24 hours while the energy circulates throughout your body.

Timing

Natural Point Acupuncture strongly believes that it’s best to get as many treatments as possible as close together as possible – We call this “front loading”. Acupuncture is most effective when you have more treatments close together rather than too far apart. Natural Point Acupuncture focuses on the biggest issues first then works through them according to the patient and their response to the treatments. Acute and chronic issues typically require different amount of treatments, meaning their appointments may vary from once a week to every other week to even administering maintenance every month.

what people say about us

I tore my right quadricep muscle and could barely walk. After just one session, my pain level dropped 50%. The first time I ever felt any long lasting relief was after Jenny did her healing magic on me.

D. D.
I had strained my back to the point of not being able to stand completely upright. In less than 24 hours after Jenny cupped and utilized acupuncture on my back, I was completely pain free and had regained full motility.
C. F.

After just one session, pain from my acid reflux and headaches had gone away! I continued to do treatment sessions for a month and now, a year later, I've yet to have a relapse of acid reflux or severe headaches!

J. P.

I've been getting acupuncture since I was a teen, but found it effective only for musculoskeletal complaints. Since I started regular treatments, my asthma and allergies are better and I'm even able to decrease use of my inhalers.
